This book motivated me to remember there is a lot more to life then what is going on right now. There is a bigger picture then what we see each day.
I found ‘Now I can think myself to Mars’ to be incredibly inspirational and heartwarming.
The way the writer draws you in, it is like sitting on the sidelines and watching a beautiful conversation between a mother and her son. You can feel the love and admiration they had for one another. The love between a mother and a child is never ending and Grace Hournbuckle Walker has a magical way of letting you into their world and even through death capturing the hope and peace one can find when God is at the center of their lives

A well written, heartwarming account about the unbreakable bond between mother and son.
Grace Hournbuckle Walker shares her last conversation with her son Nathan. The conversation inspired her to create poetry and letters to her son over several decades. She tells of her grieving process following Nathan’s death. Through her faith, she learned the courage to accept but to never forget Nathan. This is truly an inspiring journey about a loss of a child, faith, healing and heaven.

By reading the title of the book : “Now I Can Think Myself to Mars” it might be hard to believe that a young boy and his mother , as a team, can show you the roadmap to heaven.
Also they are able to enlighten you on how to have a more content life here on this side of Eternity. Hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.

Heaven is hardly ever on our minds as modern people , even as Christians. This story however is about how Heaven became very real for a little boy and a mother and the comfort that they gleaned from their Journey and the loss they suffered. This read is tender and moving; it’s real life under the sun on this side of Eternity. This is a book that you will carry in your heart for years and it will remind you that in this life we can live now with certainty about the life to come.
